Phoenix Hospitals was started by Dr. Deepak Sehgal, a well-known Child Specialist and his wife Dr. Urvashi Sehgal, an accomplished Gynaecologist & Obsterician. Both of them have been practising medicine in Delhi for last two decades. They always practised from their own Clinic but all medical procedures had to be carried out at the city hospitals. By 2000, they felt the need to be able to provide complete care to their patients from their own premises and thus was born the idea to setup their own Hospital.
